Scripture Prayer Guides

        In 2007, the National Day of Prayer was held in St. Cloud at Veterans Park.  Eight tents were posted around the park and contained Biblical Prayer Guides focusing on eight areas of influence in our community and nation.  Throughout the day, intercessors came to the park and focused their prayers for our Government, Military, Media, Education, Church, Family and the Marketplace.   

       Why are Scripture prayer guides useful?  I John 5:14 says that we can have confidence that God hears us when we pray according to God’s Will.  As we study His scripture, God gives us an instructed tongue to help the weary (Isaiah 50:4) and He helps us to understand and discover His will.  As we read His promises, our faith is increased. (Romans 10:17)  The guides are not a magic formula for us to “manipulate” God to get our own way; rather they are tools to help you discover God’s will and pray according to His will, not ours.   

Since the 2007 National Day of Prayer, there have been many requests for the prayer guides .  They are now available on-line, free of charge, in order to help guide prayer  for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
