The Annual Fund to Support the 
National Day of Prayer 
of Osceola County

The NDP of Osceola Task Force, Inc. is a locally based, non-profit, non-denominational group of volunteer members. Our purpose is to encourage participation in the Annual National Day of Prayer on a local level. The Task Force exists to communicate the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create and disperse appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Osceola County Christian community to intercede for America's leaders and its families. 

The Task Force is comprised of a diverse group of believers who have agreed to collaborate in unity to honor God. Individuals within the Task Force are encouraged to use their abilities, voice their ideas, and to become involved at whatever level of responsibility they are able to. Members are valued for their stewardship, their individual opinions and God-given talents that combine to accomplish many various essential tasks.

Your Task Force works diligently throughout the year to educate the public about the history of prayer in America and to galvanize people to make prayer a priority in their lives. We sponsor numerous informative summit meetings for church, business and governmental leaders and promote student involvement by organizing and underwriting an Art & Essay contest for all 4-12 grade students in our area. This year we have created a new web site to allow the public continual access to important news, resources, and upcoming event information. On the National Day of Prayer, which is held on the first Thursday in May each year; the volunteers work tirelessly from pre-dawn until late into the evening in order to produce a well-organized prayer event for the entire Osceola County community.
